Bandera County Fresh Water Supply District No. 1 was created by the Bandera County Commissioners Court on April 16, 1961. The District is regulated by the TCEQ, Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Over the years, the District has been overseen by a Board of Directors who are very dedicated to the welfare of the customer/consumers. It is the mission of the District to provide the best quality of water at the most reasonable rate. All new customer/consumers receive a New Customer Information Packet (NCI) that explains the policies and operations of this water district.
